The motorbike bearing registration number AS 03 AD 7334, YAMAHA R15 met with a head-on collision with truck, the incident took place near Banaspati Tea estate in NH-39 under Karbi-Anglong district. The duo motorists died on the spot after they hit a head-on collision between truck and a bike, and has been identified as Umakanta Gogoi, of Nagajuri village and Partha pratim Lahon, of Tengahola village in Sarupathar under Golaghat district. According to the report, the truck managed to escape from the spot. Later, a police team also reached the accident spot for further investigation. However, it is mentioned that the vehicle crashed into them throwing them on the road, and ended up with the life end.
