Reliance Jio has confirmed on Friday that the much-awaited smartphone JioPhone Next launching in partnership with Google can be offered by Diwali, November 4. Initially, this phone was scheduled to be launched in September on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, but it did not happen due to lack of chips. The initial price of JioPhone Next is expected to be around Rs 5,000 and its 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant can be priced at Rs 7,000. JioPhone Next sports a compact display with thick bezels all around, the screen size is likely to be 5.5-inches. Since it is a low-cost phone, the JioPhone Next is also expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm QM215 chipset.
