Due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, there has been a lot of loss of life and property this week. The weather is expected to change once again in many states of the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for western Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. During this, a warning has been given to be prepared for heavy rain and thundershower in the plains and snowfall in the hilly areas. IMD has predicted heavy rain or snow at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh.
